LOCALS MATTER

My local, the Mount Radford in Exeter, near St Lukes campus of Exeter University is a terrific place to meet friends and socialise in a congenial atmosphere; if that is you are a student.

• The prices are really reasonable; if you are a student
• The prices are really expensive; if you are not a student, as somebody has to pay for the student discount
• The staff will always be friendly and engaging; if you are a student
• The staff might well be unresponsive, ignorant and downright rude; if you are not a student

…… and, just for the record, another reason the prices are through the roof is because Greene King, the Pubco who own the gaff paid to advertise on ITV during the breaks in the 2026 World Cup!
